Hello beautiful friends, I hope you’re having the loveliest day! For today’s post, I’ll be sharing a look I put together using one of my all-time favourite staples; my white ruffle blouse from Vero Moda.
Something you should know about me is just how much I love tea, well that and pastries. Yenno, really just bakeries in general. I am basically fueled by tea, pastries, and mac ‘n cheese (not that mac ‘n cheese has anything to do with bakeries… although I don’t know why not). One of my favourite local bakeries, High Tea, has both the BEST imperial cookies (seriously, they can’t be beat), and also happens to be the best place to go to get some work done.
Ironically, both key pieces in this look are two garments that literally go with anything and everything. I love how easily I can dress up this blouse, or dress it down for that matter- example: by adding a jean skirt! And these mustard mules don’t only match High Tea’s aesthetic, but they also add the perfect amount of colour to my ensemble! To finish off today’s look, I chose to pair a few of my favourite gold rings- one of which from GLDN; my all time favourite hand crafted and customizable jewelry shop. Keep scrolling for the full look (and some delicious pastry pics that are sure to leave you hungry).
I hate to say “I told you so”, but just look at my plate of goodies. Can you feel your tummy grumbling? High Tea Bakery is where it’s at!
I am seriously so in love with these mules. As funny as it may sound, I’ve always avoided wearing the colour yellow, assuming that it would clash with my hair like corn and and carrots… that’s literally the way I used to describe it to people. But now that I’ve fully delved into the world of fashion, I’ve eliminated many of the doubts I previously had regarding colours, patterns, and cuts. I think that’s one of my favourite things about fashion; it’s ever changing and the industry lets you evolve within it. Just take these shoes for instance.

Editing done by yours truly!
Thanks for checking out today’s post friends, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this versatile look. Also, let me know how you feel about my new editing style, I’ve been trying something new with the help of one of my fave gal pals- Kal! See what I did there? Unfortunately I can’t take full credit for the clever “gal pal Kal” thing, as Mitch was the one to assign that nickname. In fact, one of the perks of being my friend is receiving one of Mitch’s quirky nicknames (haha). Anywaysss, thanks for reading, and stay tuned for some upcoming fall looks!
