Ever wonder what it would take to become the epitome of Coco Chanel? Well, I do. In fact, I do most days. And I know, I know; we should all love and embrace who we are as individuals. But c’mon, I can still be Quinn, just Quinn dressed like the Madame Chanel. Right? Disagree if you will, but the je ne sais quoi factor of her effortless and classic style is indisputable.
I mention the fashion goddess herself because she has directly inspired today’s classic look. I am so excited to share this co-ord set from Lucy Paris with you all- I am in love, love, LOVE! Lucy Paris makes clothing inspired by empowered women “who do it all”. By incorporating Parisian elegance, New-York ambition, and a Californian balanced lifestyle; they are able to create a brand that is not only a reflection of the women who wear their clothes, but also a brand with a positive influence on the fashion community. Can you now see why I adore them so much??
So here’s to empowering women, because women can both be strong and feminine- just like today’s look! This block patterned co-ord set is everything I could have dreamed of in a co-ord set. Even to the tiniest details of the frayed edges, the large buttons, and the asymmetrical skirt line. Everything about this ensemble was SO well designed. Coco Chanel herself would approve!
I chose to pair today’s #OOTD with a pair of Steve Madden tie up pumps in the colour caramel. I have been all about sporting these tie ups lately, and I found that they gave even more power to this already powerful look. Love them!
Just look at how perfect those buttons are; don’t they just make the skirt? And the asymmetrical cut and frayed edges give the perfect amount of detail to this minimalistic co-ord set. Are you loving asymmetrical cuts as much as I am this season? Let me know in the comments!
