OOTD- Floral Maxi Dress

Spring has sprung- or so they say. And what is Spring without the tasteful incorporation of florals into outfits of the day? This featured dress from Masque Boutique has to be one of my all time favourite floral pieces yet; with its off the shoulder detail and its white flowy nature, it screams Spring. For this particular look I decided to pair the dress with some mid-heeled nude sandals in order to create a more casual feel. I then sported some simple gold rings to add just the right amount of “bling” (as the cool kids would say). Unless it’s a choker piece, I refrain from wearing necklaces with off the shoulder looks, as I feel that it takes attention away from the elegant cut of the garment. Anyone else feel this way?

For this shoot I was lucky enough to collab with Jorja Coral Photography and Jeanna Lee Makeup Artistry at Schriemers’ Greenhouse. They are both super talented individuals, so go give them some love!

With this makeup look, Jeanna was going for a very soft and glowy vibe; perfect for the arrival of Spring. I absolutely love how the look turned out so dewy and minimal. If anyone in the Winnipeg area is in need of a makeup artist for grad/ a wedding/ or literally anything else haha, Jeanna works as a freelance makeup artist in her spare time- give her a shout!
